Monkey Shoulder pays tribute to the hard work of the maltmen without whom whisky couldn't exist. In times gone by, the long shifts of turning barley by hand sometimes gave these hard workers a shoulder injury making their arm hang down like a monkey's. It was nicknamed "monkey shoulder". Improved modern working conditions have consigned this injury to the past, but this blended Scotch whisky honours the crucial work these maltmen put in.
Monkey Shoulder is a blend of three of the finest Speyside malt whiskies, overseen by Master Blender Brian Kinsman.
