Aperitifs

Aperitifs are drinks served before a meal with the purpose of stimulating the appetite, and as such encompass a range of different options. Many forms of bitter liqueurs are a popular choice, as is vermouth. Aperitifs are generally a dry drink rather than sweet and a champagne or dry sherry is also an excellent alternative.
