La Gitana

Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana is one of the oldest sherry bodegas in the Jerez region. Dating back to 1792, La Gitana was founded by Don Jose Pantaleon Hidalgo and has been handed down through five generations of the family's direct descendants and remains family owned today.

Throughout the nineteenth century, the company grew into one of the largest in the region and the biggest producer of Manzanilla sherries. Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana has maintained its reputation to this day and remains the most popular Manzanilla nationally and internationally.
