Mackmyra Brukswhisky, also known as The Swedish Whisky, has a well-balanced character. On the nose, creamy butterscotch notes can be found alongside fruity pear, citrus and banana. Notes of liquorice and mint add an intriguing complexity. On the palate, a youthful fresh fruit flavour with toffee, some slight smokiness and a touch of peppery spice which lingers on into the finish. Brukswhisky is blended from malts matured in bourbon casks, sherry casks and new Swedish oak casks. A splash of Mackmyra's peated whisky brings smokiness and balance to the profile.
