Admiral Rodney is a award-winning St Lucian rum. It's distilled from fermented molasses and composes of a blend of fine aged rums; aged in used whisky and bourbon barrels. A blend to honour Admiral Rodney, this rum has a light clean taste with a a slight oak flavour presented in a decanter.
Admiral George Brydges Rodney (1718 - 1792): A distinctive naval strategist, an inveterate gambler and an unscrupulous collector of the spoils of war. He is remembered as the Admiral who broke the French line at the Battle of the Saints, destroying French naval prestige and in so doing, helping British domination of the Caribbean. |
