Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak is a bright amber colour rum with a nose of prunes, raisin fruit, toasty oak and tropical spices. An Intense mouth-feel packed with sweet sultana fruit, tobacco, chocolate and vanilla from the oak. A complex finish with notes of sweet fruit, caramel and spice.
Admiral George Brydges Rodney (1718 - 1792): A distinctive naval strategist, an inveterate gambler and an unscrupulous collector of the spoils of war. He is remembered as the Admiral who broke the French line at the Battle of the Saints, destroying French naval prestige and in so doing, helping British domination of the Caribbean.
