Aqua Riva Reposado Tequila is a traditionally styled Mexican tequila that focuses on small-scale production and careful sourcing of agave. Produced by Aqua Riva Tequila, it is made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, an area known for producing agave with higher sugar content and a more fruit-forward character. The agave is slow-cooked, fermented, and distilled using established methods before being rested in oak barrels for a period that places it within the reposado category.
This expression reflects a more craft-oriented approach, with an emphasis on maintaining the identity of the agave while allowing a measured level of oak influence to develop during maturation.
