Arran 25 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is the oldest bottling in the core range of age statement whiskies available from Arran. This limited release single malt is limited to just 3,000 bottles available worldwide annually.
The whisky is matured in ex-Sherry and Bourbon Casks before being bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. Its colour is all natural.
Nose: Rich oak aromas with a touch of nutmeg. These evolve into sweeter aromas of baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries.
Palate: Fruit cake flavours with toasted almonds and cinnamon. Zesty oranges and mandarins are perfectly mellowed by manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and an interesting hint of white pepper provides further complexity.
Finish: A creamy and spicy finish with layers of dark chocolate, walnuts and dark fruit compote.
