Intense, dark red colour with a tawny edge.Very attractive, restrained aromas of dark fruits and spices. Full bodied and smooth with soft tannins on the palate leading to toasty notes on the finish.
Background: Since 1995, Riscal have selected the grapes for this great wine by hand, with the installation of sorting tables. Riscal was the first bodega in Spain to introduce this system. With Barón de Chirel, Riscal have achieved a milestone in the production of fine wines.
