Beefeater 24 Gin is a modern extension of the classic London Dry style, developed to introduce additional layers of flavour while maintaining the brand’s traditional foundation. Produced by Beefeater at the Beefeater Distillery in London, it builds on the original recipe by incorporating a selection of 12 botanicals, including Japanese sencha and Chinese green tea alongside more traditional ingredients like juniper, citrus peel, and coriander. The name "24" refers to the 24-hour steeping process used before distillation, allowing the botanicals to fully infuse into the spirit. This extended maceration is a key part of the production, helping to extract more subtle characteristics from the added ingredients, particularly the tea components. The result is a gin that stays rooted in London Dry tradition while expanding the profile through additional botanical complexity, positioning it as a more contemporary and layered alternative within the Beefeater range.
