Brugal XV is a beautifully smooth unique blend of rums from the Dominican Republic. A combination of rums aged 3-8 years in American oak casks and rums aged for 2-3 years in former Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, the same casks used in The Macallan Scotch whiskies. The resulting blend is an exceptionally smooth marriage of dry rums with sweet notes. A brilliant, bright amber colour in the glass, the aroma has a gentle woodiness, with sweet highlights of honey, dried fruit and a touch of caramel. On the palate, Brugal XV is smooth with a delightful harmony of fruity and sweet notes, balanced with some hints of spice and sherry. A lightly sweet, lingering finish.
