A light gold malt, Cardhu 14 Year Old Special Release 2021 is gentle on the nose, fresh and lightly fruity, with notes of white grape and lychee. A touch of green apple, pear and a hint of orange zest, are all wrapped up in pastry with a lashing of butter. Then comes through light notes of spice that are charmed from the wine-seasoned wood. It's fragrance entices with a creamy-smooth texture and perfumed taste, enriched by lush red berries. The finish carries with it a pinch of white pepper, giving a warming feeling.

Add a splash of water to reveal further smoothness and light notes of meadow flowers, which evolve in distinct heather-honeyed sweetness.
Casks:
Aged in refilled American oak casks. Then finished in red wine seasoned casks.
