Cazcabel Reposado Tequila is an aged expression that represents a step up from the blanco in terms of maturation, while still maintaining a clear link to the agave base. Produced by Cazcabel Tequila, it is made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco. After distillation, the tequila is rested in oak barrels for a period that places it within the reposado category, allowing a measured level of wood influence to develop.
Within the Cazcabel range, the reposado sits between the unaged blanco and the flavoured liqueurs, offering a more traditional tequila profile shaped by time in cask. The production focuses on balance, using maturation to add structure without masking the underlying agave character. It reflects a straightforward approach to reposado tequila, where ageing is used to complement rather than dominate the spirit.
