This is the 2023 release of Chartreuse Liqueur du 9 Centenaire. It was first created in 1984 by the Carthusian Fathers to celebrate the 900th anniversary of the creation of the abbey of Grande Chartreuse, back in 1084. This exclusive Chartreuse liqueur is only ever released in limited numbers.
Tasting notes: Best served as a digestif, chilled between 12 and 13°C or over ice to discover all the flavour and aromatic complexity. A refreshing and flavoursome liqueur.
Creation: To create this blend liqueur, the Carthusian Monks have selected liqueurs with different aging profiles. With great aromatic subtlety, it is characterized by a harmonious balance between vegetal power and floral delicacy.
Ingredients: Alcohol, sugar, water, plant substances (130 plants)
Presentation: The bottle is reminiscent of those used in the 19th century and has a bottle number and release year on its back label. The smoked glass bottle comes sealed with a cork stopper.
