Dalwhinnie 25 Year Old Special Release 2015 is a limited edition vintage expression, distilled in 1989 and matured for 25 years in American oak hogsheads. Just 5916 bottles of this whisky have been produced as a part of Diageo's annual Special Release selection, and each bears its own unique bottle number. It's light, sweet and fruity with aromas of strawberry, melon and plum with a few floral heathery hints. On the palate, fresh green fruit and some peppery spice notes. Adding a little water brings out a touch of citrus in the profile. A soft, sweet and creamy finish. |
