Discarded is a sweet vermouth infused with cascara, the discarded fruit of the coffee berry. It has a deep, rich and aromatic nose with natural warmth. The taste is full and sweet with the indulgent fruity notes merging with the characteristic bitter notes of vermouth that dominates the clean, lingering finish. The base of this vermouth is taken from a fortified wine used to season empty whisky casks for the final stages of maturation. This is then blended with the cascara extract along with other botanicals to complete this most versatile vermouth.
