The story of Four Roses tells that the founder, Paul Jones Jr. was smitten by a Southern belle and proposed to her. Her response was that if her answer was "yes", she would wear a corsage of roses to an upcoming grand ball. Jones waited for the ball and found his belle wearing a corsage of four roses. When he later went on to create his bourbon, he would name it Four Roses as a symbol of his love.
Four Roses handcrafts ten entirely distinct bourbon recipes which they then blend to create their exceptional bourbon whiskies. It is a time consuming art, but well worth the effort.
