Ginraw is a gastronomic gin, finely crafted in Barcelona by a team comprising a Master Perfumer, a mixologist, a sommelier and a chef. The gin is distilled at low temperatures using a type of rotary evaporator used in haute cuisine. This method better preserves the more delicate flavour components of botanicals that would be lost in a typical pot or column distillation. The gin is distilled initially using only juniper berries. To this are added individual distillates of six further botanicals, fresh citrus peels and laurel from the Mediterranean as well as exotic spices. The piney notes of juniper are prominent in the aroma, with the citrus and spices bringing depth and complexity to the gin. The unique methods used to produce Ginraw limit it to batches of just 5000 bottles, with each bottle bearing it's number. The wooden cap sealing the bottle is created from ash wood derived from sustainable forests.
