Glenfiddich IPA Cask Finish is the 1st expression in the Experimental Series. The experiment resulted in the first single malt Scotch whisky ever finished in craft IPA casks. It's a new kind of single malt scotch whisky. A rich golden colour. There is a harmonious combination of fresh green apple, William's pear and spring blossom on the nose. To compliment, you get hints of aromatic hops and fresh herbs. A vibrant taste with zesty citrus notes followed by creamy vanilla and hints of fresh hops. The finish is an enduring sweetness with echo's of green hops. |
