Glenmorangie 10 year old is aged to perfection in a mix of first- and second-fill ex-bourbon casks commissioned specifically by Glenmorangie from 'designer'; oak in the Missouri mountains. A sweet aroma of citrus and peaches, hints of vanilla and some floral notes. A creamy vanilla and butterscotch taste on the palate developing into sweet waves of tropical fruit and malt. A clean, refreshing finish with lingering notes of orange and peach.
Glenmorangie Lasanta is an expression that has been matured in ex-bourbon casks and extra matured in Spanish ex-sherry casks. Characterised with flavours of toffee, raisins and walnuts. The sun scorched plains of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalucia, southern Spain, produce the sensually smooth, creamy sherry for which the area is famous. Sherry casks that retain the warmth and nutty flavours of this fortified wine are imported to the Scottish Highlands by Glenmorangie where they are filled with Original single malt whisky until it takes on the delicate nuances of taste and rich golden russet clarity.
Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban uses Portuguese barrels which have previously held Port wine to serve as further maturation for The Original, imprinting the spirit with a lingering chocolatey mint aroma and ruby glow. Enjoy the bouquet of Quinta Ruban for the first time and be immediately transported to the Mediterranean landscape of a Portuguese Quinta where to escape the searing heat of the vineyard you take refuge in the dark, cool cellars of the great port wine houses of the Douro Valley.
