La Copa Vermouth is the first ever sherry vermouth, drawing on recipes and techniques in the Gonzalez Byass archives dating back to the late 19th century. Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherries are drawn from Gonzalez Byass' well-established soleras after maturing for eight years, and blended with a selection of the finest aromatic spices and botanicals. Wormwood, clove, orange peel, nutmeg, angelica and quinine are all macerated in the sherry blend to deliver classic aromatic vermouth flavours fused with delicious sweet sherry character. An original twist on the vermouth formula, La Copa both preserves the old winemaking traditions whilst also delivering a contemporary new product. La Copa will excel in recipes which call for sweet vermouth, such as the iconic Manhattan.
