Hangar One Citron is made using the Buddha's Hand citron/lemon; one of the oldest citrus fruits. Buddha's Hands citrons don't have any juice inside; they're entirely pith (that's the white stuff inside the peel). And unlike most citrus, the pith of the Buddha's Hand citron is sweet, not bitter. This allows an incredible depth of flavour. Rumor has it that Buddha's Hand citrons got their name because they look like the upturned fingers of Buddha statues; the mutation that gave them the fingers started around 200 ad. Buddha's Hands are highly aromatic and are hung to perfume rooms and closets.
Background: Hangar One is made by craftsmen working from an Old Military Structure, hence the name 'Hangar One', making seriously delicious vodka. Hangar One vodka is made using real fruit, resulting in a wonderful and deep authentic flavour.
