Description

Description:

This luxurious limited edition bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Rabbit has been created in honour of the Lunar Year and the Year of the Rabbit. The stunning design has been created by one of fashion's upcoming talents, Angel Chen. Paying homage to the sprightly rabbit, it is a symbol of mercy, elegance and beauty. The rabbit also signifies longevity in traditional Asian culture and as a resonance with the Johnnie Walker motto, Keep Walking, there are prancing rabbits captured leaping amongst mountainous peaks.

Taste:
This exquisite blend of some of the rarest and most exceptional whiskies exhibits flavours of dried fruits and citrus. Waves of spice fill the nose, giving way to notes of vanilla and honey. On the palate, notes of caramel and hazelnuts are prevalent with bold notes of dark chocolate, followed by a luxuriously long, warming and smoky finish. Best enjoyed with water, ice or try sipping it neat, with a chaser of ice water to open up the flavours.

Production:
Hand-crafted  in small batches by a team of expert whisky makers led by Jim Beveridge. Jim is the sixth in the unbroken line of Master Blenders stretching back 200 year, to the time of the founder, John Walker.

History:
Johnnie Walker Blue Label was created to commemorate the Old Highland Whisky blend, which was originally created by John Walker's son, Alexander, back in 1867. Only one in 10,000 casks in the distillery's reserves of over 10 million maturing Scotch whiskies makes the cut to become Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Included in blend are hidden gems from irreplaceable casks from the long-forgotten 'ghost' distilleries.
