Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2003 is a limited release single malt, made usually only once a year. The Distillers Edition enjoys both rarity and superior quality. This richly peated, richly flavoured malt whisky has intense layers of raisin sweetness and smoky flavour. The Master Distiller has hand selected a small number of casks for double maturation in specially crafted pedro-ximenez cask-wood. The rich, sun-dried grapes sweetness they impart to the whisky, is why these casks have been chosen. They complement the rich and complex style of this special single malt. |
