The 2000, 2002 and 2004 vintages, chosen for their exquisite harmony and balance, are carefully blended and slowly matured on the lees in order to fully express their character and richness. Extra Age Brut is a vibrant straw yellow colour with fine bubbles. On the nose there are aromas of fig, winter pear and honey, combined with bready notes reminiscent of French pastries. A full bodied palate, complex with a finale of finesse and freshness. The aromatic palette of this exceptional champagne delights with its intensity and complexity. On the palate, Extra Age has a strong backbone and can be served with rich flavourful dishes including: scallops and truffles, spicy Lobster Gratin and Roast Partridge or Pheasant.
