Produced by the historic Italian house Luxardo, this gin combines a traditional juniper-led base with the distinctive character of sour cherries, a fruit long associated with the brand’s heritage. The base spirit is distilled with classic botanicals before being infused with cherry, creating a hybrid style that sits between flavoured gin and fruit liqueur.
The cherries used are closely linked to Luxardo’s own orchards, particularly the marasca variety, which is known for its tartness and aromatic intensity. This gives the spirit a more defined and slightly sharper fruit profile compared to sweeter, confectionery-style flavoured gins. The juniper remains present but is softened and partially masked by the fruit, resulting in a layered profile where botanical and fruit elements interact rather than compete.
