Dark and intense. Marques de Caceres Rioja Reserva has a complex bouquet with powerful blackberry and blackcurrant aromas as well as subtle toasted notes and fine oak. A good, fleshy texture with great character and structure. A classy, elegant wine with plenty of potential for ageing. This Reserva rioja draws on grapes from old vines across Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. The wine is matured in French oak barrels for 20 months before bottling; it is then allowed to develop for a further two years before its release. |
