Mas Sardana Cava Brut Nature by Franck Massard has flowers and citrus aromas that play on the nose. On the palate, this charming Cava delivers flavours of lemon and lime. This is offset by a pleasant biscuitiness and a fine bitter hit on the finish. This is a very much a quaffable wine.
This Cava is a brut nature, like many cava's, which means there is no added sugar, but there may be some residual sugar from the grapes, which is natural. It should be noted that Cava is made in the same way as Champagne. However, it is often produced using native grapes such as Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo. The cost though, is most often a fraction of the price of a champagne of a similar quality.
