Hot Scotch Toddy

Ingredients:
50ml Ballantines Finest Blended Scotch Whisky
68.75ml Boiling Water
6ml Angostura Aromatic Bitters
5ml Honey
15ml Fresh Lemon Juice
3ml Cloves
Pour the boiling water into a heat-resistant Toddy Glass. BUILD by adding in the Whisky, Aromatic Bitters and fresh Lemon Juice. Then add the honey and stir to dissolve. Spear the cloves into the lemon zest twist and add.

The origins of the "toddy" are unclear, but the word reached the shores of England via the lips of returning sailors, coming back from the East Indies in the 17th century.
