Description

Description:

At 3 litres, this format gives the wine more time to come together before it is opened, and that extra time shows in the way the profile feels more settled and composed, with fewer sharp edges and a more gradual, even development from start to finish. The blend remains the same combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, but instead of the fruit appearing quickly and broadly, it unfolds in a more measured way, with apple, pear, and citrus building gently rather than arriving all at once, which gives the wine a calmer opening. As it moves across the palate, the transitions between stages become less obvious, so rather than a clear shift from fruit into mid palate and then into the finish, everything connects in a smoother, more continuous line, making the wine feel more integrated overall.

The secondary notes, such as light pastry and a faint toasted character, are still present, but they sit more naturally within the wine, blending into the fruit rather than appearing as a separate layer. Texture is noticeably more refined, with finer bubbles and a more even spread across the palate, which adds to the sense of polish without increasing weight or richness. Overall, the jeroboam format brings out a more relaxed and cohesive side of the cuvee, where the familiar balance of fruit and freshness is delivered in a smoother and more unified way.
