Sweet by nature, Oban 12 Year Old Special Release 2021 has a nose filled with notes of sweet chilli, smooth-textured and a hint of light citrus sweetness. The Maritime aromas contrast with the crystal salt and oil, followed by a pinch of salt and the power of fresh-charred casks. The oak spice, deep orange sweetness and lengthy, peppery finish combine to wedded perfection.

The addition of a splash of water give prominence to top notes of light olive oil.
