Pol Roger Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill has been created in homage to the man himself, with the qualities he would have appreciated in mind: robustness, full-bodied character and maturity. The specific nature of the blend is a closely guarded family secret, but the grapes are sourced from Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards which were already under vine during Churchill's lifetime. Grilled nuts on the nose, an aromatic depth with a rich, biscuity and powerful palate. Drinkable now, but will certainly continue to improve in the bottle with age for many years yet.
