Made in the Caribbean by Pusser's, this is a full-strength version of traditional navy rum - bottled at "gunpowder proof" (54.5% ABV), which is seriously punchy. That name comes from the old naval test where rum had to still ignite gunpowder to prove it hadn't been watered down. Compared to the standard Blue Label, this is a lot more intense. It's built on rich, molasses-heavy rum with a thicker, almost syrupy feel and deeper flavours. You'll notice more weight, more spice, and a longer finish - it's the kind of rum that really lingers. Pussers Rum Gunpowder Proof miniature is a great way to try something bold without committing to a full bottle - just maybe don't underestimate it.
