It's a Fine Champagne cognac, meaning it's made from grapes grown in the top two crus of the region, which are known for producing spirits that age particularly well. What makes this one stand out is the blend - it's made from hundreds of eaux-de-vie, many aged anywhere from around 10 up to 30+ years. That long ageing gives it a much richer, more layered feel compared to VS or VSOP styles. Instead of hitting you straight away, it builds slowly, with different notes coming through as you sip.
