Yamazaki 12 Year Old is one of Japan's leading single malts. It's distilled through the art of Japanese craftsmanship in harmony with nature at Japan's oldest distillery, built by Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii in 1923. On the nose, fruity aromas of peach, pineapple and grapefruit, spicy clove as well as hints of Japanese oak. Coconut and cranberry flavours are discernible on the palate, with hints of banana and wood. A long finish, with sweet ginger and cinnamon notes. Yamazaki 12 Year Old is best served neat in a traditional Scotch whisky style glass, but for something different try blending with ice and water in a highball, a serve incredibly popular in Japan.
