UWA Reposado Tequila is the first tequila ever to be aged in Scotch whisky barrels. The barrels are sourced from Scotland's famed Speyside region and shipped to Mexico where the tequila is rested for seven months. Earthy agave flavours blend with sweet honey and vanilla flavours. Notes of cinnamon and chocolate. The whisky casks impart a subtle oakiness and a little sweet caramel. Viscous on the palate with a buttery smooth texture, the flavour lingers with a creamy mellowness. UWA Reposado would make a wonderful, if perhaps unconventional, choice as an after dinner drink. |
