PN VZ15 is the first interpretation from a new collection by Bollinger. Each year there will be a new addition to the PN collection, exploring the House's various terroirs in a different way. Pinot Noir is the pillar of the Champagne Bollinger style, and the House has forged its reputation by showcasing this variety. PN VZ15 has a delicate colour, with dashing gold glints. The wine opens with aromas of cherry stone, jam-infused fruit and dried fig. The rich and complex nose then develops into toasted, baked notes, together with wafts of elderflower and pear. The generous fruit flavours combine with mouth-watering vivacity and release a combination of peach and apricot flavours in the mouth, with subtle notes of hazelnut and acacia blossom. The finish is wonderfully lively and aromatic with flavours reminiscent of yuzu. |
