Buffalo Trace

Named after a buffalo migration route, The Buffalo Trace distillery claims to be the oldest continuously operating distillery in the US, having operated since 1920 at a time when many distilleries closed due to prohibition. Buffalo Trace was allowed to operate, creating whiskey for "medicinal purposes"

In more recent years, Buffalo Trace has become the most awarded distillery in the world, including receiving an unprecedented seven "Distillery of the Year" titles.
