Laphroaig Select brings together five specially selected casks of iconic Islay scotch whisky. The Master Distiller has carefully drawn from whisky matured in Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximinez seasoned hogsheads, and first-fill bourbon quarter casks to create this unique blend. The final maturation in new, American oak, which is rare in whisky production, adds a bold flavour.
The final addition is Laphroaig 10 Year OId Single Malt Scotch. The result is a whisky with flavours of smoky peat, spicy oak and a surprising touch of sweetness. Laphroaig Select is a great introduction to the world of peated whisky.
