Macallan Sherry Oak 25 years old is matured exclusively in hand-picked Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain to impart richness and complexity. During this time the maturing spirit transforms in a luxurious single malt whisky. This special single malt has an intensely rich and full flavour character, with notes of citrus, dried fruits and wood smoke. A remarkable and distinguished single malt.
Colour: rich mahogany
Nose: citrus notes, in harmony with cinnamon, sherry and wood smoke
Palate: full and rich flavour, with dried fruits and a hint of wood smoke.
Finish: long, with dried fruit, further wood smoke and ginger spice.
The bottle comes presented in a Macallan 25 Year Old wood box, enclosed in a black cloth bag.
